Some strains are just so beautiful to both the eye and nose that it's almost a shame to crush up a nug and smoke it. With a look and smell that overwhelm the senses, a strain like MK Ultra was quick to become one of my favorite strains before even taking it out of the Denver marijuana dispensary.

Strain Review: Sour Diesel

Sour Diesel is one of the first strains I can recall getting over and over in my teenage and college years, and I was never disappointed. Her heavy sativa hybrid nature gives off a level but very euphoric buzz, while a very mellow body buzz allows your strong mental motivation to carry you wherever you desire.

The appearance of this flower is very, I mean VERY, sugary, or densely covered in trichomes, to the point of a "sugar dipped" appearance. The aroma and terpene profile of Chernobyl is astounding, and very fragrant.

As soon as I opened my jar and leaned my nose near, all of my senses were immediately sent into tizzy. There's tartness, sweetness, and one that I can't exactly put my nose on. That is, until I did some digging into what makes bubblegum smell the way it does.

"Here smell this," our delivery man said offering me the jar. My head was sent spinning, as I took a very potent whiff of the sweet piney aroma. Just smelling these buds had me feeling like I had already taken a hit.
