Washington Bill Would Forgive Minor Marijuana Convictions

Washington Rep. Joe Fitzgibbon, driven by the fact that prosecutors dropped pending marijuana offense cases after the passage of I-502, introduced a bill that would allow people to have their records cleared of minor marijuana convictions. This would allow previous offenders a fresh start, including better work opportunities and funding for education.
