Time: Marijuana No More of a Gateway Drug Than Alcohol

In his recent article in Time, Joe Klein makes the point that fears about marijuana being a gateway drug are from a different era; In the 30’s delving into marijuana meant subjecting oneself to a world of illegal substances. These days, this is not usually the case. “Alcohol is as likely an entry point to the world of mind-altering substances as pot is.”
