The Medical Marijuana Business Daily reports that legal marijuana sales could hit $6 billion by 2018, four times this years projected sales of $1.5 billion. This is due to not just the legal recreational sales set to hit Colorado and Washington next year, but to the ever-expanding medical marijuana industry as well.
