Spending Minimal So Far for August Alaska Marijuana Initiative

The upcoming August 19 ballot measure to legalize recreational marijuana under Alaska state law has seen little early campaign spending by advocates and none by opponents. The initiative has spent $132k to-date, from MPP, mainly to get enough signatures to qualify the measure for the ballot.
