Last week, 11 Seattle medical marijuana businesses received shutdown letters from the DEA. One of those targeted is a small medical marijuana collective in Ballard, The Only Natural, which has only 20 plants and 8 ounces kept for sale to a small group of patients. The owner, Douglas Gerdes, had this to say: “Either we trust our government, or all the people that are willing to do this are just taking a risk and we’re all being stupid.”
