The San Diego City Council has sided with Attorney Jan Goldsmith against Mayor Bob Filner’s request to stop prosecuting dispensaries. The council instructed Goldsmith to continue to prosecute 11 medical marijuana dispensaries to maintain the status quo while zoning issues are resolved.
I feel bad for California weedists, but between the assaults on mmj and the cost of living, maybe it's time for Californians to consider the greener pastures of Washington (or Colorado). Just saying… ;)
The thought has crossed my mind… especially on November 7th! I thought we had something special with Prop 215 in 1996, now this is a whole new game. Lead on WA & CO.
