At a televised debate between Gov. John Hickenlooper and his Republican challenger Bob Beauprez on October 6th, Hickenlooper repeatedly used the word “reckless” to describe the passage of Colorado’s pioneering legalization initiative, apparently forgetting that the initiative had been approved by 55% of the very people whose support he was seeking.
