Palo Alto City Council Opposes Measure to Permit Medical Marijuana Dispensaries

The Palo Alto City Council established its opposition this week to a controversial November ballot measure that aims to make it legal for medical marijuana dispensaries to operate in the city. If passed by a majority of voters on Nov. 6, the measure would roll back a 1996 city ban on medical marijuana dispensaries, and allow as many as three to set up shop.
