Recent state efforts to legalize marijuana pose a challenge for the Drug Enforcement Administration, because they would increase marijuana’s availability and promote drug use, the DEA said in a filing released Wednesday.
Even though it's consistently been shown legalization doesn't increase usage, it's not the government's business to make the decision for its citizens. The only reason Big Brother does is due to the special interests lining their pockets, including the DEA who's budget depends on the war on cannabis.
The Fed should at least have the balls and be consistent… ban alcohol, tobacco, caffeine, etc. (which it has no business doing, but at least the government wouldn't be hypocrites really just being bought by special interests).
