Nathaniel Harshman, now only 20 years old, has been sentenced to 5 years for working on a 477-plant marijuana grow operation in Alaska in 2011. This is the Federal minimum sentence for working on a growing operation with more than 100 marijuana plants.
I am Nathanael Harshman…. I served 5 years for marijuana, and I am now free… But after 5 years for a victimless crime, what does being free really mean to us?
