Illinois MMJ Advocate Not Eligible Due To 2012 Possession Charge

Michelle DiGiacomo, a 53-year-old Chicago advocate that helped pass Illinois’ medical marijuana law, will not be eligible to receive her medication of choice because she was found in possession of marijuana last year. DiGiacomo received a medical marijuana card in California and had been using cannabis for her health problems.
