The National Institutes of Health has granted $3.3 million to Drexel University for a five-year study of medical marijuana’s impact on drug use and health in young adults. The study, led by Dr. Stephen Lankenau, comes about after a separate study on drug use found large differences in non-medical prescription drug use for those that had a prescription for medical marijuana and those that did not.
