Ferguson and the Racist Drug War

Ferguson, Missouri has become a bedrock of racial tension since the shooting death of unarmed teenager, Michael Brown, by police officer Darren Wilson. In light of the recent events, it seemed appropriate to revisit prohibition’s racist roots and unpack some of the long standing racial disparity that has plagued, and continues to plague, the United States.
