Prior to Amendment 64, Colorado had a decriminalized outlook on marijuana while driving, meaning that getting caught with pot was the equivalent of running a stop sign. Now, getting caught with pot behind the wheel means a DUID [Driving Under the Influence of Drugs], license revocation, and thousands of dollars in court costs.
