Yesterday, the DEA sent letters to 23 medical marijuana dispensaries in the Seattle area determined to be located within “1,000 feet of a school, playground or other prohibited area” – ordering them to shut down or face the seizure and forfeiture of assets and profits, along with criminal prosecution.
