Former NASA scientist and co-founder of High Altitude School of Hydroponics, Dale Chamberlain, has now used his knowledge and expertise (he designed a plant growth chamber used on the Space Shuttle) to form Colorado Grow Box, which sells fully-automated and airtight growing cabinets complete with electronic controls. A non-automated model is also available.
I should also mention the NASA-style astronomical price tag: $7500 for the automated unit and almost $5000 for the 'basic' unit. http://www.hashschool.org/The-Colorado-Grow-Box.h…
At that price, I think I'll get 2 and keep one for a backup. May as well follow the government standard: Why build one when you can have 2 for twice the price?
In all seriousness, I appreciate that Dale took the time to apply his expertise to cannabis. Now he needs a cost accountant to take a look at that design!
