English soccer club Notts County are using marijuana heat lamps confiscated in police raids to help maintain their field. The heat lamps are being deployed on lighting rigs to heat up the soil and assist the regrowth of grass on the club’s Meadow Lane pitch during the cold winter months.

This confused me for a moment; I thought they were talking about using the grow lamps, then I remembered how cold it can get out there. Still, I've personally never seen heat lamps used in a grow-op. Must have been for a year-round greenhouse grow… Now I want to build a greenhouse…
