Two NJ Lawmakers Draft Bill to Help Sick Kids Get MMJ

Assemblywoman Linda Stender and Senator Nicholas Scutari of Union County, New Jersey have drafted legislation to help provide medical marijuana to children with serious medical conditions. They plan to introduce the bill next week. Currently, parents are required to get the approval of the child’s pediatrician, a psychiatrist and the doctor treating the child’s illness.
