Cyclone Pre Rolled Cones
I’ll make a confession that I hope doesn’t make me lose my otherwise fairly extensive weed-cred: I’m not very good at rolling my own joints.
Having never been particularly good at building anything from scratch, I just have never been able to master the right technique to make joints worthy of the high quality bud I enjoy smoking. I know that one day I’ll be able to take a package of regular Zig Zags and roll up my own joint, but until then I’m just fine with relying on pre-roll cones to do most of the work for me. There are several kinds of different pre-roll cones that work great and are easy to load, and there are definitely many different kinds available at any dispensary or head shop.
I recently discovered Cyclone Pre Roll Cones, which at first glance can most definitely be a little strange. Upon first seeing them at a head shop here in Denver, I wondered if plastic would smoke well. They’re not actually plastic, but just simply see-through; they’re made from cotton cellulose, glycerin, and water and definitely do not taste or smoke anything like plastic might smoke. Overall, I really enjoy Cyclone Cones and would definitely recommend them to smokers who like to put their bud into an easy to use, already rolled-up cone joint.
Cyclone Clear Pre Roll Cones come in a re-sealable tube that make sure the joints stay fresh, which is a nice addition that makes it easy to take these cones on the go. At at price at about $2 for each tube (which includes 2 cones), they are slightly more expensive than the typical opaque paper cone, but the unique design is definitely worth it.

Not plastic, just see through…
The Cyclones are pretty small compared to some of the huge Raw or ZWare, which is actually a plus if you ask me; they’re big enough to roll a good sized joint but not a totally ridiculously big one (without having to cut the cone). The flavored version definitely is worth checking out just as much as the “clear” ones, and is like a flavored blunt wrap in that the flavor compliments the bud without overpowering it.
I tired some Presidential Kush and Jack La Mota in these cones and got both of their distinctive flavors out of both sessions. The plastic-looking paper definitely burns evenly and well, just like any other opaque paper joint.
Weedists that like to roll their bud into pre-rolled cones should definitely check out some Cyclone Clear Pre Rolled Cones for an easy to use and tasty pre-roll.
