Dutch Treat Haze
Wow. Just wow.
I just got the chance to try Dutch Treat Haze, a sativa dominant strain that is everything that a connoisseur could possibly want in a bud.
The “house strain” at BMMC (Boulder Medical Marijuana Center), she’s a cross between Dutch Treat and Super Secret Haze, both strains that are on their own are pretty fire anyway.
The bud structure is really what struck me initially — some of these nugs are impossibly dense, like jaggy green golf balls. It’s the kind of bud that would only take 6 or 7 nugs to weigh out a full ounce (28 grams), which is just absurdly dense.
The visible trichomes help, too, as does the incredibly sweet and potent smell.
The effect is long lasting and heady, with a great taste and overall amazing smoking experience.
Anyone coming to Colorado needs to find Dutch Treat Haze to see a great example of the top quality herb the state is known for, and those Colorado medical marijuana patients who already have their red card should take a day trip to Boulder as soon as possible.
