What a guy.
I spent my time living in either Chicago or Northwest Washington during the years I started smoking. As such, the marijuana slang I picked up is a blend of the cannabis culture in those locations. There are some differences here and there (I think of them as dialects), but ultimately we’re all speaking the same language.
Here’s a few more words that I picked up on my adventures.
11. Quarter
Noun
A unit of measurement that refers to one fourth of an ounce, or about 7 grams: “Get a quarter of the best weed money can buy, then we’ll smoke.”
12. Half
Noun
A unit of measurement referring to half an ounce, or about 14 grams: “Tonight we’re picking up a half ounce. It’s gonna get cray.”
13. Sploof
Noun
Any kind of device that a person may use to reduce the smell of marijuana: “This purple diesel is pretty pungent, so I brought a sploof to minimize the smell.”
14. Sesh
Noun
Short for session, or a marijuana smoke break. May also apply to other things, such as a game sesh, music sesh, etc.: “We’re havin’ a smoke sesh then a Halo 4 sesh then another smoke sesh. I call the good controller.”
