Arkansas Voters Reject Issue 5 On Medical Marijuana

The Arkansas Medical Marijuana Act, or Issue 5 on yesterday’s ballot has been rejected by voters.

As of 4:54am Eastern Time this morning, CNN shows No on Issue 5 at 51% vs 49% Yes with an estimated 95% of the votes counted.

Such a close call and a great effort by Arkansans to be the first southern state to legalize medical marijuana.
